It's not on the list but I vote for the Plasma Rifle as it is quite powerful and you can get it early on in F3 and F:NV

I could never find energy weapons when I first played fallout so now I still kind of stay away from them even though now I realize they are literally everywhere! Plasma rifles are pretty awesome when you invest the points in them

The only reason I first tried Plasma Rifles and Pistols was because I thought they looked cool; little did I know they would be quite powerful.

Shishkebab. I'm more of a melee weapons guy myself, and this is just awsome. It both slices, dices and toasts up enemies. Sure its not the most powerful melee weapon in the game, but man is it fun to use!

I love the Plasma Rifle too, it's always in my inventory. For emergencies I like the Chinese Assault Rifle since it's pretty reliable and common so easy to repair, I also like the Alien Disintegrator and of course the Alien Blaster.

The shishkebab is awesome, especially early on, it just degrades so quickly! That is the only reason I use the super sledge more. Well that and you send people flying with the super sledge

i love Death claw gauntlet (even through it annoying to get the 3rd BP ) and Fisto!
the Nova i love too,i also love the hunting rifle,good at most ranges

Do weapons from quests count? If so I'm going to have to say the Archemedies II weapon you can get from "That Lucky Old Sun". That thing is amazing
If not then the Antimaterial Rifle from New Vegas with explosive rounds. That thing is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ OP

The fact that object weight made no difference to the damage always infuriated me lol. None the less, destroying someone's limbs with a teddy bear is hilarious

I played a ton of new vegas, but this is my first run through fallout3. So far i have a sneeky character and i have been using the gauss rifle from operation:anchorage in vats mode to critical hit everythings face off.

My top 10 favourite Fallout 3 weapons (Including DLC, Excluding mods) are the following...

1. The Rock-It Launcher [Renamed as the "Junk Jet" in Fallout 4.]
It's just a really fun and hilarious weapon, dismembering someone with a Nuka-Cola Truck or a Teddy bear always brightens up my humor.

2. Railway Rifle
I love the sounds of this gun, the looks of this gun, and the damage of this gun. Being able to impale decapitated heads onto walls and objects is a nice feature too.

3. Microwave Emitter
I just find it to be incredibly Over-Powered and is one of my first choice of weapons to pick if I want to quickly clear an area, grind enemies for XP, or just want to burn my enemies.

4. Victory Rifle
Just my personal choice of a long ranged weapon to allow me to quickly kill enemies from afar.

5. Xuanlong Assault Rifle
The most powerful assault rifle in the vanilla game, I always keep one in my inventory to get me out of sticky situations where no-other weapon would do the job quite as effectively as the Chinese Assault Rifle.

6. Eugene
Because I like miniguns.

7. Experimental MIRV
Because why the f*ck not?!!

8. A3-21's Plasma Rifle
Nothing special, It's just another type of Plasma weapon I like to use.

9. Gauss Rifle
Similar to the Sniper Rifle, except much more bigger, and powerful. But the lack of FOV it gives me makes it an un-appealing weapon for me.

10. Blackhawk
Just a small .44 that lays around in my inventory, only used when the other weapons are low on condition or low on ammo.
