FO3 NMC TEXTURE PACK PROBLEMS!!!

Hey guys, ive been looking into modding fallout 3 and got the game, ive been modding skyrim and fallout new vegas before, i gathered up a good list and organized catagoried folder of mods for fallout 3, the problem is how i am having much trouble installing the nmc texture pack which is a big deal if you want to really crank up how fallout 3 looks. Ive tried using the mod managers and replacing the textures folder with nmc, feel free to ask me questions if i left anything important out thx :D

well your not saying what type of problems you are having. You put them in ok and they aren't just showing up? something else?

I have NMC installed. I have the performance pack installed since it looks nearly the same to me as the top level texture pack, yet doesn't drop my FPS at all. I can tell you the download with Nexus Mod Manager button is NOT the way to install this mod. It has to be done manually. Those buttons are there for some odd reason but the textures will not show up in game. It's been a while since I installed the texture pack so I don't remember the exact process, but the green buttons that usually let you install a mod easily through mod manager will not work for this mod.

i tried installing by replacing the normal texture file with the nmc one that you can find inside of the mod file, but it still hasn't worked, i understand if that may sound really stupid, i just can't really find a way to get it to work

Ok I got you. Watch this and follow these steps. This guy is doing exactly what I did and it works. He also goes over other visual mods. The vid might look long,but it goes fast and you learn a lot about modding this game. You can also just skip to the NMC texture modding part and ignore the rest.
