Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition

Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition

Super Duper Mart bugged, can't progress the Wasteland Survival Guide.
Every time I try to enter the Super Duper Mart the game crashes, nobody was able to help me narrow it down so I have to skip the "Find Food" part of the quest. Problem is: The number of different variables to the quest stages is proving to be a roadblock. The wiki doesn't list them all (neither does anywhere else) and just typing "setstage 00014e96 16" does nothing to the quest stages.

Can anyone out there show me the full list of stages so I can circumvent this bug? Thanks.

Sounds like a multicore problem.

Open up the fallout.ini file in: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3
Find the line:

bUseThreadedAI=0

change it to:

bUseThreadedAI=1

Add another line after it and insert:

iNumHWThreads=2

This will limit the game to 2 cores and prevent the engine bug from causing the game to freeze.

*If the game still crashes write this iNumHWThreads=1

It is not a freeze, it is an immediate crash to desktop.

Did that fix, still crashes on entering the building.

Have you tried finding a solution in google/you tube etc?

None that matches my problem currently exists. I had been suggesting that someone give a workaround as stated in the OP but nobody is taking it up so far. I've posted this question on multiple sites as well but so far this is the only one getting replies. And to those that say to just use sqs, sqt, or sqv: the quest has so many stages and variables that it overflows the console and hides the useful part, so I cannot use it.

FOUND IT, turns out that one of the merged/bashed patches I set up had been corrupted somehow. I will redownload its components and sift through them individually and find which one of the patches that was included in the bash messed up the Super Duper Mart cell.

Did you ever find out the solution to this? Same problem for me

First, A little late for that. but anyways, I think it wound up being some note-related quest mod that broke the interior. I had forgotten what it was called though.
