FOV needs to change plz help me PLEASE!
Im so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick of this. been attempting to keep the fov the same so that i can use my 360 controller while i play on the oculus rift. I would be plenty ok with using keyboard and mouse but for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason when i go onto a terminal my mouse will never reach the exit button so then i cant even play with keyboard and mouse unless i avoid all terminals, well im not going to do that. So anyways i go into my .ini and typed 120 into every fov and nothing changes at all. I have also added the line fDefaultWorldFOV=120 and guess what? Nothing, ive spent far too much time trying things and im just way beyone pissed and done. PLEASE someone help me to figure out how to set the fov to 120 permanently PLEASE

Copy paste from another fiorum.

"I'm putting this here for future reference and because it's NOT EASY(!!) to find in google unless you are searching for "skyrim permanent FOV".

Open FALLOUT.INI found in C:\Users\user\Documents\My Games\Fallout3

At the bottom of the[Display] section add the line:

fDefaultWorldFOV=90

The above permanently changes your field of view (in first person AND third) to the number you put, in this case 90.

The below changes how much of your hands and weapons you see in first person. You can find this line near the bottom of the [Display] section.

fDefault1stPersonFOV=85.0000

I found out that 85 is enough so some weapons like the missile launcher don't appear clipped."

Or just write fov "number" inside the game console.

ok so. i want to use my 360 controller with this game but the problem is when i start the game up with the controller plugged in the game refuses to let me change the fov the way u just said. the keyboard and mouse just will not work while the controller is plugged in. When using keyboad and mouse with an oculus rift you have to place the mouse poiinter in wierd places until it registers that your actually trying to.... lets say change or look up items on a pipboy. if i can keep the fov the same at 120 then i can just use a controller and it becomes that much easier. ive still been unable to keep the fov at 120 upon startinig the game even after looking this stuff up http://www.gamesas.com/how-can-permanently-change-the-fov-t194771.html and thank you again for responding. the dev kit 2 of the oculus can cause soooooo many annoying issues. also if there is a way to be able to type my usual "fov 120" in console with my controller plugged in that would solve the issue right there for sure.

Search for [Display] section in FALLOUT.ini and add this line in the end of that section fDefaultWorldFOV=120

I tested it and it works.
