I even wiki'd the quest to see if there was some other way around, there's not.
In the past I've saved Red and then, slave her up when she gets back to big town, but this time around, just to save time, I opened her cell and threw a collar on her right away. Now I can't complete the big town quest... lol.
Some of the Quest tracking in Fallout 3 sucks bad.
After the main quest I haven't found anyone else I can slave. I've tried it on random NPCs and either they start screaming for help and run, or on a few crit. shots their heads have actually exploded.
Can you even keep slaving people after the quest to get into Paradise falls?
Yes, you can keep enslaving them. It helps to have a high sneak, I think. Then you can mezz the heck out of them. In my playthroughs, Grouse eventually gets snuffed by random wasteland critters spawning near PF at higher levels. After that: no more easy slaving caps.
