You can't use the pipboy until you get into combat so just work up the sheriff in megaton and you will get your pipboy but it goes through the camera so you can't use it. And once you can use the pipboy you can go into third person. If you want add me and i can record it and put it on youtube.

That can't be possible since you can't get any weapons as the baby and the vault boy glitches out when you try to use it.

no it is possible. i watched alot of it. he jumps and glitches out of the room in the beginning

I know how to escape the vault as i have done it but it's not possible to finish the game without any weapons.

I watched the video too, he does manage to get some weapons. The article does mention he modded the game to get the pip boy to work properly (it shows this around 26 minutes into the video) and he does have some weapons afterwards. He actually kills a dog with a sniper rifle later in the video.

It is because you can use save glitches to go through walls and as a teenager you are very fast, and a bit slower as a baby, so you can outrun most enemies, you also have an ungodly amount of health.

using console commands was able to leave the vault as a baby. But i as well cannot seem to use the pip boy properly. I wonder if theres any way to set arm length through console commands

you can get a mod that gives you a different model pipboy which allows you to use it as a baby, but completely vanilla it's impossible

killing everyone at the birthday party and then escape using console commands to unlock the door upstairs is a very funny way to start a game
