Fallout 3 loading screen glitch (PC)

First time I've ever seen this - I was in the Jefferson Memorial, opened a door to go to another room, and the loading screen popped up with these images. Can anyone offer an explanation?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I started noticing those loading screen images recently as well. Then just now, my dialogue choices are disappearing when trying to trade with NPCs. Any one know what this is?

Had this too,but this bug never did anything besides this loadingscreen .After I restarted Fallout it has gone away and never came back^^.

I just noticed it today in my Fallout 3. I suspect it is a mod I installed yesterday. Have to go through them all to see.

I understand what it is, its showing all (most) of the icons ( A) B) lb) ect) this is weird though. as it should NEVER happen. wow.

That's the texture for 'interfaceshared0.dds', aka your HUD.

Looks like something you did (broken mod, incorrectly installed mod, badly made mod, etc...) is using this texture file instead of the regular loading screen texture.

Go through your 'textures/interface/loading' folder and look through all your loading screen textures until you find the one that looks like that (its not supposed to be there), and delete it.

This happens to me on vanilla, it's not gamebreaking.

It looks like a memory leak of some kind in the game (especially with Windows 7 and newer). Restarting the game and loading a previous save got the correct load screens to display again for me.

Uh that glitch is still on, s*** happened during in the zeta mission

Я был в Мемориале Джефферсона, и там где на втором этаже стояли два солдата Анклава (один был с Плазменной винтовкой, которую я хотел заполучить) я запрыгнул на край стены и подошел вплотную к балкону, потом я нажал f9 и меня телепортировало на балкон, и очень забавно, что там есть проход и дверь, когда я подошел к двери у меня игра забаговала, указатель квестов вёл себя странно. Я забрал броню с того солдата, и радостный пошел к выходу, и как раз после этого и словил этот экран :DD Играл я без модов, но баг забавный, и вроде не сломал игру)

Hey guys i know i come 9 years later but i know what make this error is because you install a bad version of directx 9.0 or install it badly uninstall it or check if all is ok and install it from microsoft oficial page only i do this and dont happend me more

No i mistake the problem make it the subtitles of the game if you put it 1 time you have to use it or will appear that glitch i think when bethesda make another game we have to press them for fix all or at least more bugs and glitches.
