Unofficial patch - Windows 10
Hi,

I have installed FO3 and can play no problem in W10, once I installed the GFW fix. However I want to install the patch from Nexus, as it seems to have lots of fixes for the game.

Do I have to install FOMM and FOSE to do this? I am unsure as to how this works?

Also, I have the GOTY edition, but when I look at what data files I have, I only seem to have the main game. How do I make sure they are there too? Do I just click on them?

Hi, sorry to re-hijack my own thread, but could anyone help with the original question regarding how to install the unoffical patch? Do I need to install and mod manager and FOSE?

Also, how do I install the other data files?

Found all the answers:

Open the game, go to Data Files and select all of the items (as long as you have purchased the GOTY edition), this will add the DLC.

Then download the unofficial patch from Nexus as mentioned in the ultimate guide. Just run the exe., it will install to the folder you have already designated for FO3.
