Galaxy News Radio Crash

Hey guys, I have the problem,that the game crashes everytime when I walk with the paladins to fight the mutants at galaxy news radio ,it crash in the ruins and can't find a solution.

Thanks for request,yeah i verified the game but this didn't help,i play it on windows 7 without freezes or crashes just at galaxy news radio and can't find someone with the same problem on the internet, i have no mods installed.

a few years later, I've run across the same problem. I managed to get past it by entering, quickly pressing esc before the crash, make a new save, and next start up I just loaded that and it worked. took me a few tries but worked out in the end..

In case anyone else ever has this problem and the above solution doesn't work for them (it didn't work for me, after hours of trying I think you just got lucky dude), I did find an actual solution to this on my latest playthrough (2022 and this game is still fantastic!). Took me most of my morning, but after hours of trying, I found something that works every single time.

1. Get yourself a save at the point that the Brotherhood muppets are talking about you, right before they run off towards Galaxy News Radio.
2. Before they start running, open console (tilde key ` ) and type TCL to toggle collisions off.
3. Play with collisions off until they get into the building across the street. Follow them in, then turn collisions back on again, by typing TCL again into the console.

I don't know why this works, but it does. I tested it half a dozen times with different saves, and it works every single time. Enjoy!
