Fallout 3 keeps crashing and I have no idea what to do

I installed all the necessary mods like Anniversary Patcher and Fose and all that other bull to be able to play the game but when I go to launch the game it just turns into a black screen and the game crashes immediately idk what to do

Yo tengo un minipc con una Intel HD Graphics 620 y Windows 10. Cuando inicio una partida nueva me peta el juego, he activado la compatibilidad con Windows XP Sp3 y ejecutar como administrador y de momento no consigo que funcione.

I think i got it! Check this:
Rename fallout3.exe to fallout3launchesteam.exe and run from steam.

Generally, the problem is the name of the game file. If you change fallout3.exe to anything else, the game will start.

I discovered it by accident. I used anniversary patcher, which made a backup of the "fallout3_backup.exe" file and when I launched the game from it, it started.

You can call the file as you like but only with laucnhesteam it can be opened from steam.

i just deleted game and downlaoded again and also works. Im waiting for your result

I renamed it and it says fallout 3 isn't installed and i should look at my dvd rom for the setup.exe lmao is it because im using an ssd?

I see that the anniversary patcher downgraded my fallout 3 to 1.7.0.3. do i run as admin or just open it?

if you see information about install game its mean you running launcher. You need to run renamed fallout3.exe
