someone please help

i cant get fallout 3 to work on my computer i know it worked before as i have hours of game play on it. i have tried everything i have been looking for hours, i run it off steam when i right click and do the properties there is no compatibility tab i have all given everything full access and the compatability tab has still not shown up. i have downloaded redownloaded tried window mode at every setting nothing is working

For a non-mod solution on Win11 that I found to work: Go to settings, go to DISPLAY settings, go to Graphics, then set custom graphics settings both for the Fallout 3 Launcher and the Main EXE file (At least, I did it with both as per what I originally read and it worked out well enough). Set the both of them to "High Performance" as opposed to letting Windows decide.
