Fallout 3 DP is randomly disconnecting While playing
Hi guys My display port is randomly disconnecting when playing the game. I get a black screen for a few seconds. I do get the same problem while playing new Vegas. Fallout 4 is rock solid I get no issues. I have just ordered a new DP cable (16k 8k DisplayPort 2.1 Cable 80Gbps 3M, VESA Certified Ultra-high Bit Rate DP Cable) to see if it solves the problem. I'm not sure this will fix it as I do not get any issues when i'm not in any other games.

ha ha, classic! :2017cat:
ancient game that not know even about 2.1 sound, 2k nor 4k and 75GHz displays (F4 can work on 2k 4k up to 120GHz "out from box", and above with ENB)
and "well"-known odyssey series that have high % factory defects
and W11
and possible enabled all "super" features of RTX3XXX

You collect almos all Bingo! for 15 years old game on 20+ years old engine, except AMD video and German Low Gore version :2018salienpsychic:

P.S. and NO, it NOT have DP2.1, only DP 1.4a at MAX, becouse nobody invent DP2.1 yet :steammocking:
2.1 is HDMI

ordered a new DP cable (16k 8k DisplayPort 2.1 Cable 80Gbps 3M, VESA Certified Ultra-high Bit Rate DP Cable)
you got scammed, dude - both by hardware store that sold you snake oil of a standard, that does not exist in nature and Todd, who sold you an ancient game that often does not work "out of the box" on hardware released after 2017 :lunar2024dragoninablanket:

Ok Thanks for that. I think I have fixed it. I modified the Fallout.exe file with Mod: Large Address Aware Enabled for FO3. Then I optimised the Gamw using Nvidia Geforce experience, looks like its stopped disconnecting the DP.
