EDIT: well shucks, i aint played in a while, an now it crashe's when I start or load. balls. well maby i'll gety round to doin summit about it
if you are using an Intel integrated gpu worm_master https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/17209/ might help,
(I have not used these before I am just grabbing them from the wiki for you) as with anything on the internet, install at your own risk
I'm useing AMD, and in the settings it correctly registers my card. I don't seem to have that particular issue. I suspect the answer is in the AMD software some-where.
Reading though the comments of the mod it also seems to work for discrete GPU's (AMD too) too so might be worth a try anyway :)
