For context, one of my setups is a Minisforum UM790 Pro hooked up to an eGPU in my living room. It's perfect for chill action-RPG sessions on the couch.
The only way I was able to make it work at all was to use the New Vegas Graphics Bypass from NexusMods. It gives better performance than the Fallout 3 one (in my experience). For some reason the eGPU didn't play the game very well, but the iGPU did, so I just decided to force Windows to use the iGPU and have the eGPU be a simple video passthrough. It worked for a while until the update.
Now, the only way I can play it in this setup is to completely disable the eGPU and link the TV directly to the mini PC itself, otherwise it just doesn't run the game. It's a pain, since to play any resource-intensive game, I have to reset the whole setup again.
Not necessarily a deal-breaker, just a little annoying.
