My DLC content is gone?

for some reason after i stopped trying to mod fallout 3 it completely removed all my dlc content (like all the stuff from mothership zeta and the pitt) i tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didnt fix anything. anyone know why?

Before you tried re-installing did you remove all the folders off your drive? Anything that is left over may be affecting the new install ... especially if there is left over mod stuff in there. There isn't only a folder left in your Steam/Steamapps/common folder there is also a file in your documents folder as well. Might want to give that a try.

If you have cloud saving you shouldn't have a problem getting your saves back although in my case I'd likely start a new game.

When I have an issue modding Fallout 3 I simply delete it here then remove all the folders and delete the trash then restart my PC and try again. There are plenty of Youtube videos showing how to mod it ... I typed modding Fallout 3 in 2023 into the Youtube search bar. Not saying you don't know how to mod it but I don't mind refresher courses myself.

I played it on Xbox, it should have a DLC menu or something in the main menu, when I played on Xbox 360 and sometimes Xbox One, it did this, and you'd have to go into DLC's int o the main menu and it has something like, download, I can't remember. That'
s the most I can say.

Normally you run the launcher and there is a data option, select that and make sure all the dlc is checked off as well as the load loose files, then save and start the game. Your dlc should be working then.
