Getting my ass handed to me by Tribals (Point Lookout DLC)

I decided to replay this game out of pure nostalgia, playing on very hard and no mods playthrough, I'm kicking ass so far until i started Point Lookout DLC and kept on getting killed by the Tribals.
I don't remember it being this difficult to get pass the Mansion but after multiples attempt, i manage to survive and so far can handle other enemies except for REAVER (AKA Turd Flinging hobo)

Yep, some emenies from Point Lookout, Mothership Zeta and Broken Steel are spongy as hell. I usually use a mod to nerf them a little.

So far managing just fine without any mods but have to see if any more issues ahead.

I recommend lowering the difficulty if enemies have way too much HP for you, higher difficulty options for Bethesda games are mostly just giving extra HP to enemies rather than making it harder in more meaningful ways.

Not play the games of couple years how do i get the companion to DLC area without mod? or do i have to use mod?

Manage to finished the main quest of Point Lookout but damn the tribal giving me the most trouble out of all enemies.
Good things i got godly amount of ammo and stimpaks and Chinese Jumpsuit (General Jingwei outfit)

Nope no mod what-so ever, it DO's come with a penalty though, u lose ya radio, permanently, until you start a new game(sometimes it pops back in).. Can provide utube proof it works

To avoid this in future, simply do the operation anchorage and mothership zeta dlcs, that should sort you out with op unbreakable power armour, op sword, op guass rifle, op alien weapons, and a whole lotta ammo.
