Fallout 3 Permanently Changing FOV
I'm putting this here for future reference and because it's NOT EASY(!!) to find in google unless you are searching for "skyrim permanent FOV".

Open FALLOUT.INI found in C:\Users\user\Documents\My Games\Fallout3

At the bottom of the[Display] section add the line:

fDefaultWorldFOV=90

The above permanently changes your field of view (in first person AND third) to the number you put, in this case 90.

The below changes how much of your hands and weapons you see in first person. You can find this line near the bottom of the [Display] section.

fDefault1stPersonFOV=85.0000

I found out that 85 is enough so some weapons like the missile launcher don't appear clipped.

Fallout 3 isn't showing up under MyGames

That is odd, have you ran the game at least once? Are you using two different hard drives? Maybe it's a Windows administrator issue, or a bad installation. Fallout 3's user files is always created in Documents/My Games as far as I know.

Thanks, worked perfectly.
Though I recommend using 75 for the 1st person models FOV.

Great stuff man! I was trying to figure out a way to keep my FOV without my weapon sticking too far out. Groovy fix man.
