Controls lock up

Need help with this, since it's really just killing me when i play. Often the controls will lock up for no reason, the game goes on doing whatever i was doing before the control lock up, but after that no buttons work except alt tabbing out and exiting the game, my keyboard and mouse are not a problem since they work perfectly fine outside the game, i already have hte FO3 unoffical mod with the threaded ai fix, so i have no idea what's going on. Any help for this?

If you have a controller plugged in remove it before starting the game.

Nope, i use regular mouse and keyboard, no controllers. The problem is very annoying and usually results in lost saves which is making it nearly unplayable without stopping to save every 5 minutes.

1.Right Click On The Game
2.Press Settings
3.Go To The Tab "Local Files"
4.Press The Button That Says "VERIFY INTERGRITY OF GAME CACHE..."
5.If that didn't wok Reinstall your game and don't worry your save files stay in your Doucments file here is the location of mine C:\Users\Connor\Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves

already did that, didn't work.

Change bBackground Mouse=0
to bBackground Mouse=1

if you edit fallout_default.ini you are a dummy so don't do that.

The issue is with the background music.

rename the MainTitle.wav to something else.
rename data\Music (folder) to something else.
turn off music in your in game settings.
Dont play the radio when the music is on. (it locks up after a few seconds).

The issue is the worst while in vault 101 after the escape quest starts.

The unofficial patch could be the issue.
Normally the multicore fix and 4gb patch will run it fine. But most have the unofficial patch and have problems needing workarounds.
Verifying the game with the unoficial patch installed can also cause further issues.
