Fallout 3 GOTY crash when meeting super mutant overlord
It's the familiar "red triangle" bug: Instead of the mutie, I see a glowing red triangle, and when the NPC is killed (by trusty Dogmeat), the game crashes.

Unfortunately, uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix it. Is there any other way to fix this bug?

Addendum: No Mods or other tweaks installed. Game has run (relatively) fine for many, many hours up until this point (Germantown).

same Problem here. With mods i get the triangle, without just plain crash. Using Win7, maybe that's the prob.
