If this works, I will be very happy, as I can't play Fallout 3 on my pc, I have to play Xbox 360 edition, and I already beat that.

its a windows live game and u need the windows live launcher

This is old and windows live has been shut down. You'll have to find another way. Sorry!

I was getting the missing xlive.dll error.

I downloaded a copy of the file and dropped into the Fallout 3 folder. That allowed the game to start for me.

for anyone having this issure, i just fixed it for myself by going here https://www.dll-files.com/xlive.dll.html and just literally dropping the file into my fallout3 folder and it started up all normal.

This worked flawlessly. FYI to those unsure. Drop the xlive.dll into the Fallout 3 folder, in Steamapps/common.
