Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition

Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition

The ordinal 43 could not be located in the dynamic link library
I did everything I could to fix the problem. At first it wont just open so after clicking play on both steam and fallout. So i followed every possible solutions both in the net and the first pinned guide here such as the compatibility and running it as administrator. (Except for installing "Games for Windows Live" because it would not install and give me an error.) now it will show me the message above every time I attempt to open it.. Need Help!

Your title indicates
already installed but missing file ' xlive.dll '
Check your security programs are they too strict, without rights.

Google ' Download Xlive.dll '
insert into steamapps/ common/ Fallout3goty
See if any changes.

Followed by choice of GWLdisabler/ fose/ fomm/ ....

Ultimately your above paragraph already shows
you are having a tough time ' getting ' A game to work.
The more you touch, afraid the more you break.

Uh, it would be working if you did. Try again, don't skip any steps.

Please do the latter choice Xas gave you, install FOSE /w 4GB enabler loader, and this will kill xlive being necessary.

Don't bother with GfWL, the servers don't exist, and while it works for some people to get the game running, why put on outdated unmaintained system-level software, the other solutions just work with the game's files.

Have you read through this yet? Originally from 2013, that's how long people have had issues getting this thing running. At least the GUIDE is updated and still very applicable! over 5000 likes, just saying.
