Stuck on initial loading screen
Hi there,
I have a problem with my GOTY Edition of Fallout 3. It starts, but it gets stuck during that slideshow, before the main screen should show up. The slideshow just goes on and on and on with the music playing but nothing happens actually. I couldn't find anything about this problem on the net. Already disabled Game for Windows live and veryfied the files. But that did nothing to help. Anyone here has a solution to this?

ive tried over and over as well with no luck... its too bad because i was really looking forward to replaying fo3.......... wouldnt have spent the money if i knew it was unplayable on modren OS

Did you follow the guide here? Worked for me. As i recall you have to do more than disable GWL and verify files.
