As I wrote before, I could not load a DLC and tried everything that was available on the internet. Now I installed the "Fallout3 - Garden of Eden Creation Kit" today because I wanted to add something to the game.
Ever anticipated when you install the kit is usually the message that a dll. Missing, you can fix it by simply clicking on Install after the installation and the fully loaded error message. Then comes a message if you want to repair, reinstall or configure the program. One clicks on configure and already there is an ok there and the kit works flawlessly.
Well, that's what I got today :-).
So what to do if the DLCs as I said not loaded?
You install the "Fallout3 - Garden of Eden Creation Kit" creates a new folder to saves once (I have created an item and then saved I think it may also be an empty folder).
Then you close the "Fallout3 - Garden of Eden Creation Kit" and provide the game via the Normal Fallout 3 Luncher. Now there is a new option to select, namely "Data Files" that one clicks on and sets with all files a check mark.
And then click on Start s and lo and behold all DLS are loaded at once loaded in the game.
The program is automatically included if you buy Fallout 3 or Fallout 3 Gotty. Click on "browse local files of the game" then you can install the GECK.exe from there.
At with it is in the directory
D: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Fallout 3 goty \
In most cases, you can find them on the C: partition, which means if you do not want to install your games on a different hard drive like I did.
For questions and suggestions, I am happy to be open.
