Operation Anchorage
I just finished my first playthrough of Operation Anchorage. I played Fallout 3 a long time ago on Xbox 360 but never had the dlc. Recently, the goty edition went on sale, so I figured it would be worth it. This first dlc is a pretty big let down. It only lasted about 3 hours, completely linear. No looting/scrounging/fallout gameplay. The performance dipped terribly low in several locations and fights. I typically get 60 fps on ultra, but I was often getting 10 or less.

I'm hoping the other dlc is better, because to be honest, I would be very upset if I bought this dlc on its own for full price. Does the other dlc get better?

I found that this dlc was good ofc is easy but it has nice rewards for finishing it.
Try The pitt dlc that has good action and story ,keep in mind all dlc are short.

Aye, Operation Anchorage felt more like a chore to play.
Couldn't wait till I got it over with.
Had some neat loot at the end, though.

Yeah, loot was good. Just felt like they decided "Instead of more Fallout, lets try being a terrible CoD experience instead".

Aye, it didn't really fit the gameplay of Fallout 3.

I went straight from anchorage to playing the pit, then mothership zeta. I think those two are a bit better, but not by a huge margin. They actually felt like fallout, which is good. Looting, some exploration, npcs that actually have some dialogue and character(barely, but still). + the performance was on par with the base game.

I haven't gotten to point lookout yet, and haven't finished the main quest(but have passed level 20) I'm thinking point lookout is going to be the best dlc, because it looks more like regular old fallout gameplay instead of corridor combat simulator.

Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta didn't feel like fallout 3 to me, more like Call of Duty. Broken Steel is full on call of duty style missions also, but probably the best one that feels like the base game is Point Lookout, brings back the exploration and story abit and focuses less on the action.
