-Any DLCs if you havent already.
-Roosevelt academy is a fun place to unload massive carnage against super mutants. This place is generally overlooked since theres no quests or anything really important there.
-Dunwich Building if you want a scary place to explore.
-Oasis if you haven't already been there.
-Fairfax or Bethesda Ruins if you don't mind raiders.
-Andale, but watch your back there.
-Theres a fort named Fort Bannister i believe that is the hq for the Talon mercs.
-Shalebridge
-Vaults 106 and 108 have no quests to them.
-Evergreen Mills

Just use the wiki to find the locations.

Takoma Park area
Any Vaults
L'Enfant Plaza and L'Enfant South

DLCs are probably the best route to go. I also recommend wandering all four edges of the map. People miss a lot of interesting sights by avoiding the edges.

After the Arefu quest (Blood Ties), check with Karen Schenzy. She'll tell you about some neat locations you can explore, including shalebridge. Also check out Thenthapple, he's a YouTuber that covers hidden fallout locations and stories, I love his videos
