Ok so why is the game visible under the simulator category on steam if its not a simulator? Even if it was not a simulator, they still should add practice 1 and 2.
Not had a single safety car.
It would be nice yeah, but you can just do a long qualifying weekend which gives you nearly an hour or so of practise if that helps :)
I suppose this is an idea. But the tyres don't wear out in time trial? How am I supposed to test long runs with high fuel? I know I could restart the session just before it ends as much as i want. Its just a shame they couldn't add it in the first place, just like the did before. I wonder what motivated them to take it out in the first place?
It may be due to not many people are using the full time, just only a handful of people actually used 100% of the practice time given. I wouldnt mind seeing friday practice put back in, but it also doesnt really bother me either.
I usually stick with a single team, develop the car and tune the car to where it feels okay to me after spending a few seasons doing so.
Edit: Setups arent nearly as useful as they should be, changing a few things here and there hardly has any impact from my experience. Those 1:1 and 11:11 setups are still being used and I feel spending too much time on practice and getting the setups right isn as rewarding as it should be.
If Codemasters can simulate the tyre wear and fuel burn, then I'm sure adding 2 practice sessions, just like real life is not asking Codemasters too much.
