My only problem was - I also have CH PEDALS - I tried them for gas and brake and THOUGH THEY CHECK OUT AS WORKING (I got a littel app that shows joysticks plugged in).
it showed 2 devices and all the axis's. But the game wanted to overlap both devices. So I can't use both at the same time. HAS ANYONE GOT TWO DEVICES WORKING? (wheel and seperate pedals?) I have SWITCH (digital) gas and brake and it sure stinks... Really need to gradually accellerate.
I just started playing the game and realized I can't use both of my controllers??
Seriously how hard is it to program that? Every other game usually can see them!
It is JUST an input device!
I seriously want my money back now. I bought F1 2012 but played that only for a bit when it came out but had the T500 pedals at that time. Now I got F1 2013 and upgraded to the CSv2 pedals so I wanted to start playing the series again and discovered this problem!
I should not have to be forced to use a different controller no matter what it is. It is not unusual for people to have mixed hardware. This is the problem when you port these games to the PC and forget that PC games are better and users have more diverse hardware! Some of us have racing chassis and multiple controllers and displays etc.. We like it to feel as close to a real car and experience as we can.
Come on! FIX THIS!!!!
(Sorry I am not usually harsh but this is such a let down and so EASILY fixed.)
I am not a programmer but have programmed. These devices are already supported and seen within windows as standard input devices. No special programming needed, just look for them and read the inputs.
BTW for reference I would like to use my F1 wheel on the T500 base with the CSv2 pedals!
It appears they do not support TWO devices. So how are we supose to get analog streering AND analog gas and brake?
I find the game WAY TO HARD because each time I accelorate it gives me PEDAL TO THE FLOOR. It's quite disapointing. (I'm on Mac).
I have a app that shows devices and axis and it shows them as TWO devices with seperate AXIS's. they work fine on the Mac as shown by these "joystick show" apps. But when I try them in the game one of the 2nd devices axis is mirrored (combined) with one of the wheel devices axis. So it's not reading more than two axis's on one device.
MAYBE if the device has 4 axis on ONE DEVICE? which would mean - a wheel with pedals built in maybe.

I haven't had to try it, but I am thinking you could customize some lines in those files and have up to three different input devices.
CM decided to delete their forums where all the info that people found out was written down.
Damn CM and their lack of support for games.. after you give them their money, they won't even keep a support forum open where people have ALREADY figured out a lot problems, and fixes for those problems.
It's one reason why I might never buy another codemasters game in my life. They do not deserve my money.

What did the FAQs address? are you using pedals too or just steering?
Yes, pedals are working, too.
Enter the FAQ area from the Help tab on the options panel which appears on every start. This leads to "http://support.feralinteractive.com/docs/en/f12013/1.0/steam/faqs/"
