Your thoughts on using a PS2 controller with the game
I have heard people saying that to play w/o TC and ABS you need the analog triggers...but PS2 controllers don't have it. Also, with a PS2 controller it is almost impossible to do manual shifting, especially mine since my R1 is busted.

On F1 2012, I can in most cases win on Pro AI with a Red Bull.

Racing sims are meant to be raced with a wheel. Just go play on the console if your going to play with a gamepad.......

WTF is the difference PC or console?

I was thinking about buying this(well I first looked at Nascar 2013, but after reading all the issues I will pass), but have no desire to spend a bunch of money on a wheel I will use for one game. Unless there is a decent cheap wheel I can grab at walmart? I was thinking about using my PS3 controller though, would that work well enough?

Can I just go out on a limb here and ask why you have enough money to purchase the game and it's predecessor, but not a decent controller or even a basic wheel?

I only have F1 2012. Got it for 1 buck.
