Crashes on start
Just bought this game, installed it, and crashes to desktop when it shows Codemasters logo. Any fix for this?

Hi, I just update mavericks to the 2015-004 security ♥♥♥♥ and it destroyes my F-1 game, now I can play at all, before that teh game runs perfect! I do not know how can I go back, looks like I will have to re-installed Mavericks Stupoid Apple suck. every version is even worst that the one before, is not about the game, the ame is perfectly fine, its apple that really sucks on this. I use to complain about windows over 5 years ago when I get my first MAC now I think windows might run better than MAC, its a shame.

Same problem for me after updating Yosemite. The game opens but as soon as I try and race, it crashes. Hope this hasn't destroyed my player profiles. Tried re-installing the game, tried a clean install of Yosemite, no luck

Hey Paul, how did you mange to fix this? I see you're still playing now... I have the same issue. I re-installed and still getting the same crash when I tried to race

I found that shift-tabbing (showing the Steam interface) before the Codemasters logo shows will prevent it from crashing.

Did anyone ever get it to stop crashing? I installed it yesterday on my new computer and it crashes on startup after the codemasters logo. I tried doing the steam overlay thing and everytime I exit the overlay it then crashes to the desktop.

just try to restart the steam

I've done that multiple times.

Read my comment, it's just above your first one...

To be honest, I found that shift tabbing (on Mac) made very little difference, I left it a week and it worked for a while. Then crashed repeatedly.

Now, I've found once I get in, there is a corrupted save game which throws me out of F1 2013 every time. Which sucks really, no way back into career mode as each time I start a new one, same thing happens. I can only play time trials etc.

This is after deleting f1 2013, and steam, reinstalling, rebooting etc. Sucks that newer driving games aren't supporting mac at all.
