Resolution problem
My PC is not a very powerful one, so to pull off a fair FPS, I play F1 2013 in 1280x720 resolution. The problem is that if I minimize the game (Alt+Tab) or toogle windowed mode (Alt+Enter) and then get back to fullscreen, my resolution changes back to 1080p (my native monitor resolution). When I go to graphics settings, it still shows that it is 720p, but it is clearly 1080p.

How do I keep the resolution in 720p??

My GPU is NVidia GeForce GT 440.

I have the same issue on a Samsung TV LN32C350
The TV itself displays '1920x1080' when I fullscreen this game even though my desktop resolution is set at 1360x768 and F1 2013's resolution is also 1360x768 in the menu
go into documents > my games > formulaone2013 > hardwaresettings and in that folder open

hardware_settings_config.xml with notepad.

Then in the text change the section that starts -

<resolution width="2560" height="1080" aspect="normal" fullscreen="true" vsync="0" multisampling="16xqcsaa" oldWidth="800" oldHeight="600">

(note this iis from my config file yours will be different)

And change resolution width and height to the resolution you want. Once you made the changes and saved it, make the file read only, which should hopefully force the game to run at that resolution.
