Anyway, the most important thing is the car setup. i think its crucial in the wet. it would be a good idea to do some time trial outside of career with the (wet) track to yourself and play with the setup. there's no 'perfect' setup, at least I dont think so. it depends on your driving style and skill level.
If you need any help with learning how to set up your car just add me
I'm no expert, but I race on legend so i have a pretty good idea at least.
This might not work for you but it does for me: in the wet, you have to go slow to go fast. lol. if you ignore the sector splits and just concentrate on being smooth - even if it feels slow - after a few laps you'll be getting faster.
if anyone feel like doing a rant on something then just go ahead ;-0
My advice, just finish the race, retire if you have to. 100% rain on Singapore is a TOUGH place to learn the game. just accept defeat and go to the next race.
You have the same mindset that I do... jump into the deep end. You will learn to swim much faster, and then the shallow end will be easy. (no pun intended with 100% rain lol) I didn't recommend that earlier because most people can't handle that...
I got you, I'm on 25% race at the moment. 50% is just a bit boring.
hey if you ever want to race or co-op just add me!
knowing the circuit perfectly helps a lot too + tip toeing the fuel most of the way :p
yea, if you're new, you really need to learn the track before trying to push too hard ;)
finished 10th on that race which is satisfying since my teammate finished something like 15th, weirdest race i've had so far, most of the ai it seems went in the pit 2 or 3 times and the 9 people on the lead were posting laps 5-6 seconds faster than everyone else the whole race, no matter before or after they pit. everyone in the race started on intermediate tyres and I was the only one on wet tyres and flew right through the 9th first and everyone went to the pit after first lap to change to wet! qualifications were made on option since it was in the dry. practicing korean yeongam in the dry at the moment
hahha wow yea that sounds a bit crazy. ive never had anything like that in F1 2013.
If you can finish that far ahead of your teammate, good job. That is most important.
I love Yeongam. it's really fun, but it is a very difficult track. (which is why it's fun). i have done at least 100 laps on that track and I am only just now starting to feel confident.
