Same here. The lore is begging for a follow-up.
I played hundreds of hours of this when it came out, maxing out every character in all available slots, trying out different builds.
Got pretty excited when it was planned to be the first entry of a trilogy.
Lots of other less deserving games get a sequel, so I'm bummed that Brink didn't get any.
Even if it gets remade and optimized by a smaller studio or a fan group, I'd get it in a heartbeat.
