What faction do you think was right?

A curious question that passed my mind. What faction do you all think was right in their actions, regardless of hearing the audio logs or being both sides.
Resistance or Security?
I used to be a resistance boy but nowadays I personally think Security was more in the right. I haven't listened to all the audio logs yet, but right now, that is my mindset.

Both were correct in their own ways, but the resistance METHODS were their issue

They didn't care who got caught up in the fight, thus solidifying them as a proper issue

To be honest, that's my reasoning too. Security only entered the resistance Pelgo's when the resistance gave them reason to do so. The resistance on the other hand kept bringing the fight to both the security and the founders. Not even talking about the situation where they developed a cure/poison. They had a missile Silo, and they used it to either shoot down a chopper or fired it at the tower. Then in the DLC, they set bombs to founders tower to turn it into a lighthouse.

Yeah, and even with all the misunderstandings both Chen and Mokoena had, we hear a lot of stories in game involving Mokoena being a facist, but we hear even more about the resistance being unreasonable and violent, taking from the founders to give back to their people when the founders were already giving it willingly. That and a founder working at a clinic being spit on by a guest woman just for being a founder, when she was down there with them actually trying to help.

Neither side is good in the matter but the resistance took things too far, both in escape (DLC included with attacking the Arkoral plant and trying to blow up founders tower, doubly so on the Arkoral part since Chen even says in his audio log that it's strain is stagnant, infertile.) and in destruction (literally nuking the ark with Chen trying to claim it was a bluff, but meanwhile in the darker path he was willing to blow up founders tower. Even then, he armed his people and was in an almost fully open war with Security, so what was he to expect? Especially from his most zealous followers.

I think Chen's issue is he's one of my least enjoyed character archetypes anyway
