Nope.didnt solve the issue. It only reset the settings.
If I move and want to select another weapon using the mouse wheel, the menu starts scrolling itself to the direction im strafing or moving.Changing the menu navigation buttons to wasd still fixes nothing, because the game persists to use the arrow keys exclusively for menu navigation.
I dont think there is a way around that.
Do you have a controller plugged in by any chance?
No, standard mouse + keyboard for PC gaming.Pretty sure it's the fact that the game wont let me bind the arrow keys to movement instead of navigating the menus.
You see, when I use the mouse wheel to change weapons, the menu navigation key settings settings 'kick in', and alllow me to both strafe, (since they were binded to movement) but at the same time inadvertedly, scroll through the weapon menu (because the game obligatory keeps the arrows for menu navigation).
years late on this but i think i do know the issue.
menu navigation no matter if it is remapped or not, once u save and exit the settings. will revert back to using the arrow keys.
seems to be a hardcoded issue. i understand this is super late but if work is still being done on this title. a fix for this would be great for the few people having this issue. I'm also left handed playing with arrow keys which is how i discovered it is still an issue and came across this thread trying to find a fix.
