Using Postal on Mac
I recently purchased POSTAL 2 COMPLETE on my MacBook Pro for $7.49. But when I opened it to play it it looked like the game wasn't any close to being finished downloading. All I can see when I start a new game are a couple windows in the distance and a dog house next to me, everything else is the sky above me and a grey oblivion that goes on and on under my feet. I don't know if any one else had this problem but it's frustrating. I'm about to e-mail Steam to see what's up. If you know anything please help.

HELPFUL ADVICE JERK!
Same problem, pretty ridiculous. If a graphics card isn't supported, that should be made absolutely apparent to all potential buyers.

Same problem, this is ridiculous, I've tried editing all of the in game graphics settings and the problem persists.

I've got the highest spec iMac, and have no issues. You any proof it's the video card? They do have a couple listed on the store page, and in my experience with Macs (which isn't vast) Macbooks have all sorts of problems when it comes to gaming.

Yeah sorry you guys are having issues, problem is every Mac we have thrown it at, it works without problems, including Macbooks. I will bring this to the attention of the person that handles the Mac port, he might get some ideas of things to try.

That should do... amazing really that Macs are giving us more issues than Windows and Linux combined :( I'm sorry to all Mac owners getting this issue, we are trying to establish a pattern.

I'm on the exact same model as Sciencemancer, exact same problem.

Alright, so the multiplayer map Meat World works fine, but Monsoon doesn't. I think that it's only the outside models aren't loading. I dunno if that helps any, but thought you ought to know.

Actually that could be a big help yeah, thanks for pointing it out.

Same issue with 2011 os 10.6.8
All I can see is a few objects floating in the sky.
Apocalypse Weekend kinda works but if you walk too close to a wall, all you can see is the sky and nothing else.

Okay, try this for now:

Open Postal2.ini which should be located here:

$HOME/Library/Application Support/Postal 2/System/Postal2.ini, look for the [OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice] section, and change "UseStencil=True" to False, then the problem should go away. Hopefully.

What program do we open this in?
