Oh man i'm glad you metioned that. I miss playing Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix online. That was the first game i played online and it was great...in fact i think i have the hard copy laying around. might try me some single player bc im almost positive that the server is non-existant. Kinda like Postal 2 with Share the Pain when Gamespy shut down....idk i can't remember what SOF II used.
I wouldnt be suprised. and i do believe you're correct. Wasnt Gamespy pretty much the only programs you could use for online play back then (2003 i believe)? And i'm just curious, do you remember any others?
Also I just found an old game called Harvester, idk if anyone's heard of it. It looks ridiculous and sort of humorous possibly? from 1996. hey, its only $0.59. What do i have to lose....besides the $0.59.
And I totally got ahead of myself! Hatred comes out next year!! (I sense a controversy in one-lame-name-darkhumor-violent-games). Like Postal, Harvester, Hatred. There has to be more that fit this genre i just came up with haha. They're just always so good. I want moar.
just saying.
Post #4, i know. I cant wait for that game
