Is it me or is climbing objects by jumping+crouch key bugged?

As the title says. I dunno, i just can't climb stuff like I could in P2 with ease. Even the tutorial for that in the beginning of the DLC did not work until the 30th time.

it feels different then in Postal 2 to me ... press after jumping then it should work

The jumping mechanics have not changed in PL. The same crouch jumping technique is applicable here.

It is jump-crouching. Tap crouch while jumping. Although it feels a bit weird/bugged in PL.

You don't hold crouch while jumping. This will not gain you any extra height. You must only tap the crouch key while in the air, releasing the button at the apex of your jump to reach higher ledges.

Yeah,, we all know that, I did that all the time in postal 2, but in PL it does not work as much.

It is a bit off in PL. First place I got tutorial prompt for crouch jump was near some crates, they were of the height you expect to be able to crouch jump on in P2, and yet I was unable to. Crouch jumping definitely feels off compared to P2, and it's just more annoying to pull it off. I suppose RWS slightly tweaked jump height, or something like that?

Im jump crouching everywhere fine, idk what problems you guys have. On the other hand i didnt know we could jump crouch when i played the base game, so i have nothing to compare to..
