Protip for Wednesday's Gimp suit adventure

As most of you know, when you get captured by the Rednecks in the cemetary, you lose everything that you're carrying. That's a real bummer, considering that at that point the player as accumulated a nice stack of items and weapons.

Fun thing is, if you drop your items/weapons somewhere and leave the map (go through loading screen) and come back, everything will still be there. And yes, it works on Wednesday's Gimp level.

So, when you start Wednesday, make sure you do the "Piss on Dad" objective first. Right at the start of the day, go at the back of your trailer home (or anywhere you please), drop your items and guns and do the Gimp mission. The moment you come out of there, go back to your stash and pick everything back up.

Thanks, that's good to know, I was having trouble getting 20 catnips in one go for the achievement. I came close but then lost them all when this happened, then got close again and lost them all at Friday and I didn't even bother trying on Sat' / Sun' haha.

That's actually a really good tip. I think I will do that with my dynamite, because when you pick it up in the Brewery you will only get one stick and not everything you had.

You get back everything on your way out anyway, it's just scattered all over the place. Since you need to go through the level to get out you can just pick it up on your way. Dropping all your stuff would mean not being able to recover your weapons during the level and end up making it a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ harder if you're on a higher difficulty (just did this on POSTAL).

I have to tackle the Postal difficulty too. Now my little trick won't work... What a mess. :D

Luckily I saved right before entering the cemetary so I guess I'll just load that and drop my catnip near the grave

Yeah i lost the catnip aswell, had a huge stack of them too. It might be around somewhere but if it is i could never find it.

Sorry to necro, but the catnip is hidden in one of the corners. I got all mine back. I did lose my protestor sign, though.

Thank you a lot for this tip! I already went through Taliban secret base at that point, and it would be really frustrating to pull down the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a few hours of gameplay. I did drop everything next to Dude's dad grave, and went straight back there after escaping the brewery.

But sadly, when I put my stuf on the floor, the 3/4 of it disapear when I come back !
I tried to maximise the performences options, but it does nothing.. I lose almost everything..

Responded to your first thread. Just make sure there is a bit of a gap between all of the items you dropped because they can also clip out of the world sometimes.

Yeah I tried pretty much everything , spacing them, just put few of them... There is alwayse some missing, even with three or four.. But, that's me so ? I mean, it should indeed stay in place ? Well, I guess i'll have to do with what I get, that's not an apocalypse after all ^^ I'll try a last time later, coming back if it works !

Good to know, I've just got to that point. Thanks. I'll try to get a save from before getting to the church. Or just get the items from there (if the sledgehammer and the money are there I'm good as hell)
