Go to User.ini and find the area with the JOY= commands and Copy/Paste the following.

The binds I found online were pretty bad, like the Start Button to Kick AND Pause at the same time, or duplicate binds like jump being 2 buttons. That, and a lot of key binds were missing, so... Yea. This I think makes it friendly to anyone playing. For reference for those using an Xbox Controller- (Don't copy/paste this in the ini)
A=Jump
B=InventoryNext
X=Use
Y=GetDown
LB=AltFire
RB=Fire
Back=ToggleToHands
Start=ThrowWeapon
LS=Duck
RS=DoKick
Dpad Up=InventoryActivate | WantsToSkip

I THINK I got most of the most essential buttons mapped, but I feel like I'm missing something.

You can also use joy2key or 'joytokey' program to forward usb joystick input to mouse or keyboard commands.

well seem's pretty crappy to play this game without the 1-0 shortcuts, in a game where you get 1 to 3 weaps it'd be okay but in postal with ~20 weaps it gonna be a pain in the ass to get the weap you really need.

i hear ya,i wanted to play with a controller more for the novelty factor. rather than for actual function. but im pretty sure all keyboard shortcuts work even with the controller pluged in.

Does this stop the spinning problem? When I plug my 360 controller in I just spin, only happens in postal.

Here's hoping they add a weapon wheel or something to the official controller support coming later. That's the only way I can think of how that would work out well.
