You serve your time in prison. You could try to sneak away and do manage to get out without drawing any weapons, aka pacifically but you WILL get detected.

To get out you need to use matches on water sprinklers on the ceiling.

You can use the Bass Sniffer tools that are scattered around the police station to see and sneak around the patrolling guards, and drop donuts on the ground to lure police officers away from your escape route when necessary. Once you get far enough in the station, you can grab a police uniform in one of the lockers in the locker room and just walk out.
