Postal difficulty, how is it possible??

I can't pick up pipes, donuts, ect. Everybody starts shooting me immediately when they see me. Even if I have a bulletproof vest, after 2-3 shot and its no more. On monday for example I had to kill everybody at the building to be able to pick up my check. But sooner or later I die, and i can't even save, except the autosaves.

Any suggestion? I just wanted to get my last achievement, but this on seems impossible at the moment. I didn't have any problem with the Hestonworld difficutly for example.

ok the saves dont work, they are for the CD release of apocalypse weekend and they jsut crash the game when loaded

Found a solution that makes it ALOT EASIER

go into performance options; and set bystander population to zero,
this doesnt give you 0 bystanders like i thought, but there sure as hell are alot less of them

one thing im curious about, why in the save data do they reference NPC body meshes and various sound effects... (EDIT) it appears when u save, all the NPC's are not regenerated and are exactly how you left them, ill keep looking into the save data option

I did it. It did take me about 11 hours and a whole week of frustrations, I couldn't play it more then 2 hours a day, but I did it. I have no idea how, but here are some tips.

1) Don't play for too long. If you start to get frustrated, then you won't get anywhere and you will just start to make stupid mistakes.

2) Don't use cheats/hacks. What's the point in completing the game that way. Plus, you won't get the achievement, if that's what you care about.

3) Think of Postal 2 in that mode as a horror game. Try to be sneaky, don't engage unless you absolutely have to, run away from people as much as you can.

4) Use silenced or melee weapons! Making a bunch of noise will attract a lot of people and then you are dead instantly.

5) Shortcuts are your best friends, explore the game on lower difficulties to learn where they are. Also make a mental note of where all the weapons and power ups spawn, you will need every med kit you can find.

6) Save wisely. Try to save before a big firefight or in a middle of a linear level (like the library or meat world).

7) Experiment! If something doesn't work, then try to find another solution.

8) Keep trying! Some areas are just too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard. Like getting the book from Gary, killing Krotchy, or escaping the forest level. Keep trying and pray to Lady Luck that you make it.

9) Dogs can be helpful as a distraction or killing a group of people that annoys you. You can carry doggy treats, so no sense in not using them.

Actually, you can launch the final cinematic via the console. It's something like "launchfinalmovie" or something like that. I don't know if it works for the achievement.

it appears that the console commands for anything other than cheatcodes are disabled, so even "WarpToDay Friday" or "SetDay Friday" do not work even with "Sissy" enabled.

For those commands to work you need to type EnableDebugMenu. Guess you don't want to complete the game in the legit way. Oh well, your loss.

i want to complete the game in impossible, isn't impossible but sure as ♥♥♥♥ is hard, i read the advices for these difficulties and i would like to ask where can i find the machete the first day? all the peds have that behavior from th protesters and stuff and sometimes you kinda can avoid them if you walk far and quick but some conboluted areas could use some old boomeran machete

I'm quite sure that the machete doesn't spawn on Monday. Unless it's in a super secret place I don't know about, Postal 2 is full of secrets.

three days stuck in the first day, this stop being funny and i don't feel any sort of accomplishment so i'll just wait for a hack, mod or save file, it this was a game with proper collision detection and good gun balance it would be better, for example Killing Floor... tired of having to restart the whole mission because a bush is as solid as a wall, the corners have extended invisible walls and some times you can't throw things over the hills... not worth killing the fun for a bunch of cheats.
