But yes, Paradise Lost is very worth it. It adds five days, Monday-Friday. Same map as the base game, but some things are a bit different, and it has a post-apocalyptic theme to it. There's also a new weapon or two. It's got a very funny, goofy story-line as well, and several boss fights, including Zack Ward, who played Postal Dude in the movie.
You mean "Postal" 3? No, no patches. RWS has had no control of that title, and the company who made it went out of business. Supposedly, the source code was finally found a few months ago, but it's all in Russian. So we may see community made patches in the future q:
I like the sound of that. :) Gonna see if i can come up with the money. :)
Guess i'm not gonna pull the trigger on the third one ever, it seems interesting but beyond broken.
In any case, thank you very much for all that info. :)
One last question, does the Steam version of Postal 2 include the weekend and that other DLC whose name i've forgotten? If not, how and where can i get those? :)
A friend of mine got me P3 a while back, he bought the Postal Fudge Pack on RWS website. After shipping, it's around $15, and it comes with a Steam key for Postal 1, 2, & 3. So if you ever decide to try it out, that would be the way to go, since it's the same price as buying P3 on Steam q:
And yup, the Steam version includes it all! When you start a new game, you select which difficulty you wanna play, and which game mode: Postal 2 (Monday-Friday), A Week in Paradise (all seven days), or Apocalypse Weekend (Saturday and Sunday only).
Honestly, at this point, the only way i'll be buying postal if it hits 90% off, it'll probably be unplayable even then.
Paradise Lost alone is only 89p lol
I know, but to get euros on my card i have to pay at least 5, which is a bit of a snag for me as i'm broke and the conversion rate sucks for my country, which is why i asked if it was worth it, so i can try to get the money together. :)
i enjoyed it far more than the regular P2 campaign
So basically "Run Forrest, run!"? :D
I actually did try the very first thing today, "pick up paycheck" and have managed to run through the horde of angry protesters.
One more question specifically for you dev, i read somewhere that you can only complete the regular Postal 2 game (first 5 days) on a a pacifist run and that the weekend pacifist run is not possible.
Is this true? If it is, i'd like to know so i can do a pacifist run without the weekend before redoing it all in a haze of indiscriminate violence :D
dev. mb u send me gift?)
