Do you lose inventory when you go to jail?

In some missions you find the inventory somewhere. Can't see it in police station.

You should be able to find your stuff in the Evidence Room, that's where the items go when you get arrested.

When the rednecks kidnapped me i lost my WMD (Weapon of Mass Destruction). I checked both rooms.
