On the other side, 18-ponders have better range so it's possible to cripple enemy's sails before they run away.
Some brigantines can be almost as good as corvettes or xebeks - 16 coulverines, 200+ sailors and 15+ speed.
So brig is only advantageous with crew number right? because in every other aspect brigantine is better
Funny how they both have the same "against wind" angle, never seen that before.
i did not get that part i mean against wind angle.
