how do you get to the cave by the Aztec tempie

I have been all around Missquto beach. One place I can not pass as it looks like a glitch and can not move forward, the other place is guarded by guards. Want to find a treasure on my map, suppose to be in a cave???

Go to Amatique cove near Beliz. There are 2 coves near aztec temple.

SERIOUSLY, I go from paying 12,000 a month to upgrade my ship to a Smuggler ship(forget the name) class 4 and now I have to pay 111,000 a month. REALLY, here I thought my $200000 was lots of money, I mean seriously the boat alone only costs 96,000....??????????????its like every mouth I have to buy the boat over and over and over

Make sure you have a good Purser officer, very important to keep cost down.

Make sure you have a good Purser officer, very important to keep cost down.

I can not find one, and no officers, all Cannon. I have made my indian one and the ones that I do get all leave me eventually, I have heroic moral on my ship. ???always paied, but one time in the very beginning...Now another general is leaving me when I can barely even find them??and spain hates me, how do I make good with them???I have been through 10 officers, all cannoners, and my stupid naval guy left me when I paid his dept, only guy that likes me is the indian??? what am I doing wrong???ya I make little money, but I am trading the best I can.

Are you playing good guy or pirate? If you are bad guy then good guys won't stay with you.
Also, so far every time an officer says he wants to leave I just tell them they can't leave.
Does not seem to have any effect on their morale.
Also if you capture ships and play good guy make sure to release the enemy crew on lifeboats and capture and release the captain, not get money for ransoming him. your good officers will like that.

I see I did capture one person a priate, I am playing a good guy, even my Hero guy wants to leave me....I will make sure he is stuck with me from now on, he kinda has stats almost all 10 making him a good fighter as he is only lvl 3, if he stays with me. What is with all the cannon officers???bad luck? this game is hostle man, I have 4 pirates after me, then all of a sudden I have a spaniard after me from the frount..RELOAD..5 times. I mean that whole mantiance thing is crazy, THE SHIP IS 80000 dollars not even that much better then the lvl 5 ship I have and I am only paying 12,000, how can the maintance be that much???????It is like saying you buy a car for 24,000 and every month now you have to pay 24,000 to keep it running>>>???? and am playing on easy...is maintance cheaper on captured ships???

now my Indian trader guy as he is so loyal only has lvl 20 in trade< But still that is crazy??

Yeah I bet his ship is ranked too low. If you right click on the Navigation skill on the character screen you can see how much navigation skill is needed for each ship class. you need at least 45 navigation for a class 4, and it should run you about 25k a month with full crew and a few officers including purser.

I got both a good navigator and a good purser, and with my full crew'd ship(class 4), i'm paying 45k/month( Level 5, Impossible Difficulty ) ...

ya it is low, and odd at the same time, I went and bought a fleut, and I said OH GOOD only 23000 mantiance and I was happy and thought GLITCH, then 2 months later BAMB 52000....I wonder if it is because I Put a navel person there and took him off?????I just wanted a bigger ship with more cargo. I Guess I will have to check what the heck is going on??

YEP..thanks everyone, does anyone know how to make friends with Spain, would like to get in the area and look for treasure but will not let me land and says hostle????

I dont think you can be friends with Spain but you can buy a letter of marque from the Dutch for a limited time you can trade with the Spanish. But it's pretty expensive.
Also I noticed when you don't have an officer designated to a job, and he's just a passenger, he gets paid way more money, like double or quadruple sometimes, so make sure he is doing his job.

Actually I am trying to find a treasure by the city Curaco on the main. I have checked all shores but this one and it is by a Fort, so every time I go to it, it says Enemy and can not land to get the treasure. I have tired a spain flag but to no availible, kinda sucks. Is there a way to throw out this map so the game can release another treasure map to me???as you can only collect one map at a time. I think I can pass the map off to one of my captains and then fire him, but I do not want to get stuck in a glitch of a game where no more maps are released???

Curaco? It's either Curacao or Caracas. First one is easy, second - not so.
You can try getting to Aruba cape on global map with spanish/dutch banner, then enter the local map, quickly lower the game speed & land at the same time. Later you'll have to run away from fort, go to nord-west to take less dmg.
Get items that increase stealth skill & get rid of those that lower it.
Save beforehand.

it is the one with Aruba cape, every time I try under spanish flag says enemy, I have been looking for steath stuff have not found, but I will keep trying. Would like to just throw it away the map, as it only cost me 8000 I am sure the treasure sucks, but can not.

Oh hey guys I got the map treasure for some odd reason I was able to land, I jumped on it quick.

BUT now I am stuck on this indian quest, I was helping this guy save his people from spain, and I had to face 2 ships which I had to down grade my ship to a sloop, which I destroyed and now what???It tells me I have to land and destroy the camp so the indians can flee, but I see no landing abilty on my map???what to do, I am just stuck in the water??(lucky for me I save in 100 different places if I am stuck)
