Burden of the Gascon
So it's been a about three months and I was heading back to talk to my brother to advance the quest line. He givs three options:
1. Join the Dutch West India Compnay at Wilmstat at Curaco
2. Join up with the British officer Out of St. Johns Antigua who is messing up the Dutch west india Company
3. Or join the strange organization which leads to Barbados, to Bridgetown..

Is it difficulty levels (like easy medium or hard)? I'm currently Level 7 with a full crew of officers, a Class 4 Brig and Class 4 War Schooner.

Thanks for any advice. I don't want to start a mission line only to fail it. I'll keep sailing around doing odd task til I hear back from some people. Thanks.

From what I understand the Dutch is the easiest path, but I would definitely level up to 20 or so before starting even that one, in my humble opinion.

Cool thanks guys. It doesn't seem like there is a time limit once I talk to the brother in jail so I'll just started the quest line (to do one of hte three). Now am just sailing around attacking traders/pirates and doing odd quest to level up. THanks agian.

I have a question their is a diffrence betwwen those tree side quests?

There certainly are, most notably they each come with their diffirent rewards. In either of them you are rewarded with an unique officer, and a unique ship.

I haven't played the one that involves the british organisation, but I do believe that's the one that rewards you with the Privateer, a special 4th class ship. The Dutch side rewards you with the Meifeng. Working for the british navy will have the admiral give you his personal ship, a unique brig.
