Damsel In the Jungle Broken quest.
I read in the forum where people had gotten a Damsel on their ship which effected/bugged their game. I believe the quest that breaks is the Damsel that offers a treasure quest. If you are an unworthy character she will not offer you the quest, instead she claims she cannot trust anyone yet she still follows you. Looking in the quest log you see no active or new Damsel quest activation. If you board your ship not knowing what to do with her it can bug future quests having her on your ship.
I entered the bar and she asked me to take her to a private room. When I denied her request she up and left the bar never to be seen again.
There is no record of this in my log. It pays to be trustworthy I guess.

I completed the quest with Damsel seeking the treasure her father left her. I don't remember the details. Though I remember I found the tresure and split it with her.
But yes, I was a worthy character. Most probably a well-known honest captain.

I've completed many of these quests without problems, but I've always played a good guy. I've never been told I was untrustworthy.

I guess I ought to check the code for this one.

Ok, I checked the code for English version 1.5.2 dated 1-12-17. There was only one branch that made any checks, and that was for the girl to sell you the map. If you didn't pass the test, she said she'd marry someone good and they'd find the treasure together. This part of the quest happened if you killed the bad guys.

Another part of the Damsel quest was if you paid the bad guys for the girl, there was a possibility that she'd be visiting her hidden treasure in the island's cave. This one may be bugged.

If you still have a save file, try taking her to the cave.
