3, A Burden of The Gascon, capture Tortuga from sea
Need to destory a big fort, a small fort, a line ship with 2 heavy frigates and another line ship with 2 random rank 2 ships reinforcement


4, Spanish Golden Fleet, capture all.
1 vs 9 or 10 ships with 32 pound to 36 pound cannons

5, Slave Trader, the final quest
beat 2 line ships first then capture Havana from sea.

6, A Chief of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
rank 5 ship vs 2 rank 4 ships, followed by a land battle which requires soldiers on your ship

One more thing about the only plus of pirating - sometimes you're robbing wrong people, not because they're "dangerous guys", just because they want to earn some money for their good job, without overpriced content as at AAA titles.

Without choosing Normal difficulty you are not even able to play the 6 Final Lesson quests, The Caribbean In A Nutshell, A Chief of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and False Trace in a row. you can do The Final Lesson in beginner difficulty without any problem, because you can skip the newbie quests now. In the character creation page, choose the stats with the lowest T. It is able to get the quest Caribbean In A Nutshell at level 3. Avoid to fight the Spanish interceptor on the way. Charles will be level 4 and get the Price of Discretion when you come back. Charles should be level 11 before getting the last quest of The Final Lesson if you didn't fight any pirate during all those quests.

No, you're totally wrong.
Yes, this quest line is significant and it is about
A. "you won't take what you want",
B. "trust us, there is someone stronger, smarter and more tricky than you",
C. "this game won't lead you by the hand" etc.

I'm also didn't like some features of this quests and you can find my negative review under this DLC.

Actions of this quest line forcing you to surrender, to accept worst conditions. But there are some players, which won this final battle - videos on youtube should be avaliable.

I don't agree with you. Actually The Final Lesson must be about " Learn to fight, make all impossible possible."
Here are some examples

1. Charles Captured rank 1 ManOWar from England in the quest Cromwell. This is the strongest force of England. Charles beat England

2. Charles pillaged Havana in Slave Trader quest. Havana is the Capital of Spain. Charles can solo Spain from that time.

3. Charles destoryed Spanish Golden Fleet. Spanish treasure fleet only got destoryed twice in history. Charles changed history .

4. Charles took the prisoner from Willemstad by force in the quest Long Way to Gallows. Dutch city guards are nothing to Charles.

5. Entrapped Charles killed Patterson and all his shooters alone in the storyline. This is the real legendary fight. Charles is immortal, guns can never stop him.

I won't be surprised when I am going to play The Final Lesson again. Charles will smash Gregoire and his henchmen with a finger. How dare they challenge THE GOD CHARLES ?

You.. just can't.. separate final lesson story from the whole game. Each DLC is a little story with own purpose. And the main title of The Final Lesson is "this life is not fair".

I just ignored Final Lesson (refused the Reisin Dog quest). I am in the middle of the Jolly Roger and I am really thinking of abandoning it and start the Pirate Saga.

It is a RPG you can choose what parts of game you want to play and what to skip that would fit "your" Charles.

The Final Lesson rewards you some mats to upgrade your ship so that you can win the quest A Chief of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easier.
I don't like The Final Lesson DLC. it is time limited, level limited. I just want to free play.

I will start the Jolly Roger again soon. I failed 6th quest last time so loaded early save to prepare for the quest. The problem is reputation. It keeps dropping automatically after the 4th quest.

Yup, the life is not fair. Charles need to pay 1M peso to free his brother.
Let's see what Charles could do with 1M peso.

Charles can hire 50 to 60 class 2 warships. （ you will be chased by bounty hunters with 5 to 6 class 2 ships when you have 100k bounty on your head)

Or Charles can hire an army with 10k+ soldiers (It costs about 60 to hire a sailor in tavern . 10 weapons are usually sold for 170 to 200)

Charles can take over any city by force within 1M peso. No 1m is too much ,just spend 500k, go to hire 10+ ships and 2500 solders are more than enough to save his brother.

Charles is strong but stupid

I also ignored the Fadey missions and Tichingu.
The problem with the reputation is the main reason for the Abandonong the Jolly Roger.
I think I will abandon it after the Macaraibo quest.
