searching for captains

I received a quest called:"searching for captains" from a noble man.He asked me to capture a man on a certain line ship.It was seen at Saint-Pierre.
But citizens and harbormaster there ignored me,as if the quest doesn't exsited.
Where can I find that line ship?

I've never taken that particular quest, but if a nobleman asks you to find a friend you can find his ship near the destination on the world map. It will have differently colored sails; the friend's ship has green sails. This quest probably works the same way.

I did this quest ones. I just randomly encountered ship with red sails (or orange) on the global map, then talked with captain and asked him to give me this man from his ship. He agreed and I delivered this man to my client.

Also you can take many similar quests at one time for searching captains, stolen ships, offenders. And then just be attentive to the colors of sails on the global map. Red, violet and orange sails will be your targets.
