Awful English grammar and spelling

I loaded up the New Game option for the first time, and within 3 minutes closed the game.

The initial introduction is full of spelling and grammar errors. All of the tooltips and character type descriptions are wrong.

While I do understand this game was developed by Russians, my questions is, is the entire game full of terrible English? If yes I will ask for a refund.

Caveat: If others are happy to play with things like this, then that is fine! But for me personally, I can't stand playing games where I have to read something 4 times to establish an understanding of the meaning.

The real problem is not bad grammar and spelling as much as inappropriate word usage and language. The translation needs an English to English editor who can put the frequently garbled output into idiomatic English.

I always wondered why the DEVs did not just take the Text and Voice from COAS for everything besides the story dialogues..

I've reopened the game since the improved English localisation patch, there is still a load of bad grammar and spelling easily noticeable to a native English or American person.

However I appreciate how the team working on the game is small.

To that end, I'm happy to offer my services in helping improve the English localisation further, if the devs would like to contact me and show me how to do it.

How can I get a English version? I bought this game but never play due to the mensagens are in Russian.

This is no longer a trivial exercise given that Steam's 'improvement' of the Library function makes it (for me at least) almost unusable, but it the old days what you would have done is right-click on the game in your Library and left-click on properties.

After that, you'd see a bunch of tabs across the top of a pop-up, and one of the ones off to the right would be labeled 'Language'.

If you click on that tab you can set the game to play in Russian or English.

Do you know if this game hame some cheats as City of the abandoned ships?
